Alabama Butterbean Festival - Sep 3-4
Come join this family-friendly event and enjoy an arts and crafts market, a Super Kidz Zone, car show, children's parade, Tail Waggin' Pageant, Mr. & Miss Butterbean Pageant, golf tournament, fashion show, 5K race and 1 mile fun run, entertainment stages, and much more.

St. William Seafood Festival - Sep 4
Ahoy, seafood lovers! You can feast on St. William's famous seafood, which includes Creole-style file' gumbo, Cajun boiled shrimp and fresh crawfish. Hush puppies and slaw are offered a la carte. We also offer barbecue chicken and boneless catfish dinners.

Coondog Cemetery Labor Day Celebration - Sep 6
Graves are freshly decorated for the event. Enjoy buck dancing, liar's contest, speech making, and entertainment. Barbecue available.

Riverfest Barbecue Cook-Off - Sep 17-18
KCBS sanctioned barbecue cook-off featuring cooking teams from across the U.S. competing for cash prizes and the chance to compete in Kansas City, live musical and a variety of food for sale. Money raised goes to local charities.

Bridgeport Jubilee, 12th Annual - Sep 18
Join in an entire day of family fun as Bridgeport celebrates its historic past. Be a prize winner of the patriotic decorated bike and tricycle parade. Musical entertainment, food vendors, silent auction, arts and crafts, antique car show, motorcycle show, children's games, and historic storytelling with re-enactors continues throughout the day.

Mule Day Festival - Sep 24-26
Mule Day festivities begin on Friday evening with music and dancing for all ages, great food, flea market booths, and downtown shopping specials. But if your interests lie elsewhere, plenty of rest will prepare you for Saturday's 7:30 a.m. Mule Day Run. Besides the many varieties of food and music, there are plenty of events that will entertain you and your family. Be prepared to spend the day enjoying the Mule Day parade, featuring mules of all types and sizes, buggies and horses, a car and tractor show, flea market, mule judging, arts and crafts, bake-n-auction, and a carnival. A Civil War re-enactment, "Skirmish at Luxapalila" will also take place at Ivan K. Hill Park, with battles on Saturday and Sunday, and a period ball Saturday evening at the Winfield Community Center.

Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival, 12th Annual - Sep 24-26
Since its debut in 1999, filmmakers from around the world have come to Sidewalk to find large, enthusiastic crowds eager to devour new independent cinema. Voted by Time Magazine as one of America's "Top 10 Film Festivals for the Rest of US."

Coosafest - Sep 25
Celebrate the history of Childersburg with the unveiling of a historic marker, car, truck and tractor show, cooking contest, vendors, children's activities, stage entertainment and more.

Jubilee Arts & Crafts Festival - Sep 25-26
A unique opportunity to purchase items from talented artists and craftsmen in the country. Visitors are drawn to Daphne's small town quaintness and Southern hospitality. "KidsArt" provides children with hours of art entertainment. The festival features music and good food!
